About AltQuick
What is AltQuick?
AltQuick is a trading platform that enables cryptocurrency buyers and cryptocurrency sellers to find each other safely.
AltQuick allows users to trade between cryptocurrencies with other users (P2P). AltQuick automatically matches real people's cryptocurrency bids with real people's cryptocurrency offers.
Buying and selling altcoins with Bitcoin is fast and easy. AltQuick does not buy your coins or sell coins to you. You deal directly peer to peer through our automated system. We enable buyers and sellers of cryptocurrency to find each other safely.
Customer support and a good user experience are priorities at AltQuick.
Does AltQuick charge a listing fee?
No. AltQuick does not charge a listing fee. If you want a cryptocurrency listed, contact support. We only list coins that meet our quality standard.

How much are the trading fees?
The fee is 1% for Makers and 1% for Takers for trades over 100 Satoshi.
For trades under 0.00000100 the fee is 0.00% for Makers and 1 Satoshi (0.00000001) for Takers.
How do I buy Bitcoin testnet coins?
Sign up for a free account, deposit Bitcoin, and trade on the Bitcoin Testnet3 (TBTC), Testnet4 (TBTC4) or Signet (SBTC) markets.
Testnet coins withdraw instantly to any testnet wallet, with no faucet drip limits — useful for developers who need more than a faucet will give. You can also sell spare testnet coins back for Bitcoin.

We pay the estimated amount for your transaction to be within 0.50MB deep in the unconfirmed chain. AltQuick pays up to 100% of the full amount we charge for withdrawing. If the 0.50MB is less than our fee, we keep the leftover change as AltQuick profit.
You can view the amount our service is going to pay the miner via our Bitcoin miner fee estimator tool.
Swap only charges people what the actual miner fee actually is. We find this helps save many smaller traders coins.

What is the minimum deposit?
All coin deposits must exceed the deposit fee. Please refer to the deposit fee question above: "What are the deposit fees?"
Can I reuse old deposit addresses?
Yes, you can reuse old addresses.
Are there maximum limits on withdrawals or deposits?
There are no limits on withdrawals or deposits.

What is an "Emergency Withdrawal Address"?
An Emergency Withdrawal Address is an address that we are able to send your coins to if we absolutely need to. Please keep this address updated! This feature can be found on your security page: /profile/security/
Can I change or add an email address after I sign up?
No. Please make a new account if you want to change or add an email address.
Can I reset my password if I don't set up email at sign up?
No. You can only reset your password when you have an email address set up.
I've lost my 2fa! Can you please help?
We are unable to recover accounts when 2fa is lost. Please keep this in mind when setting up 2fa. This is for your protection. Please save your 2fa backup code securely. (ie: if you set up 2fa on your phone don't store your backup on the same phone) We can however use your Emergency Withdrawal Address. Please contact support.
Trading & Affiliates
Market orders vs. Limit orders
Market orders are the most basic of buy/sell trades. Market orders execute the best possible trade for the trader at the moment the order is executed. Limit orders, on the other hand, allow users to have control over the bid or ask price. This is accomplished by setting a maximum purchase price or a minimum sell price.
Are BTC-Legacy and BTC-Bech32 both Bitcoin Core (AKA Bitcoin)?
Yes, both BTC-Legacy and BTC-Bech32 are Bitcoin Core.
What do the weekly values represent?
Weekly values represent trade volume from Sunday to Sunday at midnight UTC.
Where can I see my previous trades?
Does AltQuick have an affiliate program?
Yes. Affiliates are paid a commission split for the lifetime of their signups.
Affiliates earn 100% of all faucet hits. EXAMPLE: If your signup earns 0.01 CLAM from our Faucet. You will earn 0.01 CLAM too.
Affiliates earn 50% of all Swap fees. EXAMPLE: If your signup trades 1 Bitcoin on Swap. You will earn 0.005 BTC due to trade fees being 1% on Swap.
Affiliates earn 50% of all AltQuick fees. EXAMPLE: If your signup trades 1 Bitcoin on AltQuick. You will earn 0.001 BTC due to trade fees being 0.2% on AltQuick.
Payments are processed every 15 minutes and deposited into your AltQuick account. You can then withdraw your earnings on /profile/withdraw/.
When a user clicks your link, your affiliate link will be stored in the user's browser's local storage. Your affiliate link will not expire unless the user deletes their local storage history or the user clicks a different AltQuick affiliate than yours. If the user clicks a different AltQuick affiliate link, it will replace the old local storage link with the new click.
Note: Single satoshi trades fees and fee rounding are always credited to AltQuick.
Can I self affiliate?
Yes, we think self affiliating is a great way for smart users to save on fees and see how awesome our affiliate system is! (Please only self affiliate one account. Thank you!)
If I abuse the faucet and affiliate system can my account be frozen?
Yes. Please do not abuse the faucet or the affiliate system.
Play nice in the sandbox please and we will too.

Are cryptocurrencies on AltQuick insured?
No. AltQuick does not carry insurance on cryptocurrencies.
Can I get a refund for a trade?
All trades are final. If there is an issue with a trade not processing correctly please take a screenshot and contact support.
Is AltQuick a Money Service Business? (MSB)
No, we are absolutely not a money service business, we do not support or quote fiat and cryptocurrency will never be convertible to money or other things of "real-world value" on AltQuick.com. AltQuick does not represent that cryptocurrency listed on our site has any real-world value (1 DOGE is 1 DOGE). Cryptocurrency that doesn't promise returns is not a security.
Does AltQuick offer shorting, margin trading, loans, futures, crypto to money trading, fiat, banking, interest, or anything else exciting?
No.
Does AltQuick require your personal information?
AltQuick operates strictly with no fiat or security-based tokens. We are not a Money Service Business.
AltQuick is not required to collect customer data. We respect our users' privacy.
Giving personal information, especially when in the crypto space, is risky for a number of reasons.
What happens if a market I trade on is victim of a "Blockchain Reorg Attack"?
While we do everything we can to prevent and stop Blockchain Reorganization attacks. It is possible this could result in the loss of customers funds.
AltQuick.com is not responsible for these types of attacks.
Certain coins maybe be more susceptible to Reorg. Please research this topic further before placing a buy order on an altcoin market.
Does AltQuick.com credit forks?
We do not credit forks to users that hold a balance with us. Please withdraw your balance so that you hold your own keys to claim forks.
Does AltQuick credit stakes? (in the case of staking coins such as Clamcoin)
We do not currently credit stakes to users.
I've deposited the wrong coin into one of my addresses? Can you help?
The site is not responsible for coins deposited to the wrong deposit address. Please take care not to confuse Dogecoin and Digibyte addresses.
I've withdrawn to the wrong address. Can you help?
No. Please use extreme care when withdrawing.

What is "Swap"?
Swap allows users to trade between cryptocurrencies without the need to sign up or make an account.
Swap allows you to avoid the hassles that are common throughout the cryptocurrency industry. Swap also handles withdrawals. This allows the customer to get their coins much faster.
Swap exclusively uses the books located on AltQuick.
How do I use Swap?
To select the coin you want to deposit click the coin image under “Deposit”. To select the coin you want to purchase click the coin image under “Receive”. Enter the receiving address in the space provided. We recommend providing an Emergency Address in the space provided. Click “Open swap”.
Check that the receiving address you provided is correct. Deposit your coins to the address provided by Swap.
Swap will now complete your trade. You can check the status of the trade in real time. The final page will display a breakdown of your trade.

How much are the fees?
Swap charges a 1.0% fee for our service.
Additionally, users will pay AltQuick fees and network fees equal to but not exceeding the actual fees paid by Swap to trade, transfer and balance coins between send wallets and exchanges.
What are the network fees?
Network fees are what some people call miner fees.
Network fees vary depending on how busy the network is and how fast you want a transaction to be confirmed. We recommend using jochen-hoenicke.de/queue to get a better idea of how busy the network is. You could then choose to transact during times when fees are low.

How are the rates estimated?
Each time you trade using Swap we place a market order on AltQuick. Our rates are based on real-time market orders.
Why can't I choose exactly how many coins I will receive?
Each trade will be different because Swap uses precise market and network conditions at the time of the trade. As markets and network fees are constantly fluctuating these numbers can’t be predicted.
Our system was built with our customers’ time in mind and we work hard to complete trades both quickly and economically.
Can I estimate a trade?
Yes. Open a pair on the Swap page, then click Simulate on the Trade step to get an estimate for that moment.
Can I get a refund for a trade?

Is Swap a money service business?
No, we are absolutely not a money service business, we do not support or quote fiat and cryptocurrency will never be convertible to money or other things of "real-world value" on AltQuick.com. "Convertible virtual currency" ("CVC") or "stable coins" seem to be invented to trick users into feeling safe in a "digital form" of various fiats and that seems sketchy and wrong. Our service prides itself on being purely a cryptocurrency to cryptocurrency P2P exchange.
AltQuick will never list, quote or otherwise use fiat, stable coins, company tokens, revenue-based cryptocurrencies or things of that nature.
Does Swap require or ask for customer's personal information?
Swap operates strictly as a cryptocurrency to cryptocurrency P2P swap and has nothing to do with fiat, stable fiat tokens or security-based tokens.
Swap is not required to collect customer data. We respect our users' privacy.

How does AltQuick prevent money laundering?
The best way to prevent money laundering is not to use money. Thus, we have opted not to offer any fiat currency or anything that tries to act like money or fiat currency ("stable coins" or "convertible virtual currencies").

What if my trade fails?
To avoid waiting on support we recommend adding an “Emergency Address” before beginning a trade. If for any reason a trade fails your coins will automatically return to this Emergency Address.

Why did my trade fail?
Trades can fail for many reasons. The most common reason is that another user's coins got confirmed before yours and used up our local wallet’s available balance.
Can AltQuick resend my pending transaction with a higher fee? (RBF Policy)
Yes, if you have a withdrawal from AltQuick that has not been confirmed in 72 hours, please contact us.

Open trades and recent swaps are listed on the Swap page.
Is my address reusable?
Addresses are reusable, but we strongly recommend doing one trade per address.
