Bitcoin Signet (SBTC) on AltQuick

Bitcoin Signet is a public Bitcoin test network that uses signed blocks for predictable ~10-minute times.

BIP 325 signet (Bitcoin Core 0.21) still hashes SHA-256, but every block must also satisfy a challenge script — default signet is a 1-of-2 between Bitcoin Core contributors — so anyone cannot cheaply storm the chain. That makes it the stable public testnet for longer multi-party work, as opposed to griefable PoW testnets. We list SBTC/BTC so developers can buy and sell signet coins in size instead of begging a faucet.
