Bitcoin Blake2b (BTC2B) on AltQuick

Bitcoin Blake2b (BTC2B) is a Bitcoin hardfork that switched proof of work from SHA256d to BLAKE2b.

The first BLAKE2b block is 961640 (30 August 2026), after BIP-110 failed to activate as a softfork. The chain keeps Bitcoin's pre-fork ledger and 21 million schedule, with a 164-byte v2 header. Temporary data-storage limits last until 1 September 2027; BLAKE2b itself is permanent. Deposits use the same Bitcoin bech32 address — a BTC2B-only address cannot be generated, and an unsplit send can credit both BTC and BTC2B. Split carefully.
